Eva Emingerova, considered to be one of the best Czech jazz singers, is now in a great demand. In her youth, her musical foundation was much influenced by her clarinettist and saxophonist father. Later, after a successful career as a sports woman, she was able to focus more fully on her singing and moved on to study at a conservatoire. In terms of her evolution, she moved from the early - 20s jazz, through Dixieland, swing and mainstream, up to modern jazz. In her style now she draws on a remarkably broad repertoire whilst interpreting modern compositions mainly through Latin rhythms. She works as a soloist with the best Czech jazz groups, such as, Swingband F. Havlika (Czech Benny Goodman), Classic Jazz Collegium, OPSO and Steamboat Stompers. Though she often attends international festivals with Czech musicians, she also performs as a soloist with German and Dutch bands. Contact with her audience typifies her every performance, which arises from her natural vivacity and spontaneous personal expression. She is known for her ability to blend the elements of the show with her unique improvisations. Eva Emingerova has participated in the recording of about ten CDs. Her own solo CD 'Tea for Two' was recorded after twelve years on the stage. This was followed sixs years later by her album 'Solitude'. She recorded the CD Sophisticated Lady and Colors of my Life with her group called 'Latintrio'. Eva Emingerova's lifestyle would hardly be of interest to the tabloid press. Dedicated to her family, she lives in a blissful harmony with her sculptor-husband and their three children. Eva Emingerova has gained a university degree in physical education. Then continued to prove her focused tenacity and determination in the field of sport. She represented her country, for 10 years, as a national volleyball representative in European Volleyball Championships. Newspapers articles and the others links:
